Body Techniques Staff and Quality Assurance
Body Techniques, LLC is proud of its phenomenal staff whose credentials bring credibility to our operations as a whole. Medical oversight and proper quality assurance is a key part of our success. Each staff member plays a critical role in creating our professional product.
When we first started in 1994, we were proud of the fact that we were the only massage therapy company in the country with a medical advisor on staff. This fact remains a constant in the industry, however, with the addition of new services such as Health Education and Screenings, we also found it necessary to add more credible staff that could oversee these new areas of our business.
Here is some of the Key personnel at Body Techniques and their important roles involving Quality Assurance and fulfillment. A complete list of employees is available upon request including their resumes.
Austin Lund, President/CEO.
 Many years studying business and finance find Austin leading his own company where he is accountable for many things including the fiscal health of the company. Some of his specific responsibilities include: business development, advertising, accounting, payroll, web administration, creative, IT, client customer service, and sales. These are just a few of the many hats he wears. Austin also works directly with the medical oversight committee to develop the specific protocols that drive our service businesses. In 1994, he received his Massage Therapy Certificate during a summer break from school. This was the inspiration for the now successful Body Techniques.

Sushma Shah, MD.
A complete CV can be provided at your request but here are Dr. Shah’s credentials in brief. Her undergraduate work was completed at the University of California, Berkeley with a major in molecular cell biology and a minor in South Asian studies. Her Medical degree was obtained at the University of California, San Francisco with and internship and residency in the specialty of emergency medicine completed at the Alameda County Medical Center-Highland Hospital and UCSF Medical Center. Currently Dr Shah is an attending physician at UCSF Moffitt Hospital, a leading teaching institution and at Eden Medical Center, a trauma hospital.
Her role as an acting partner in the company is one of advisory and review. Dr. Shah works directly with Austin Lund, President and Dr. Dapprich in an advisory role regarding any questions or concerns that arise medically with any of our clients. This allows our staff to confidently administer services to all customers including those who have specific medical concerns or conditions. Dr. Shah also overseas our risk management issues internally. In summary, Dr. Shah provides broad medical expertise and quality assurance to Body Techniques, LLC.

Robert Dapprich, DC, RN, Recruiting.
 A complete CV can be provided at your request. Robert has an amazing combination of skills. He is a Board Certified Chiropractor with special training in Chiropractic Neurology, Applied Kinesiology, ART and Graston Techniques. He is also a Certified strength and conditioning specialist. On top of his Doctorate he is also a Registered nurse with years of experience in a tertiary care emergency department at one of the nations top teaching hospitals, UCSF.
Roberts’ role as an acting member in the company is one of treatment and recruiting. Dr. Dapprich works directly with Austin Lund, President Mila Morales, Screening Manager, to recruit, screen and hire qualified nursing staff for our screening services. Dr. Dapprich also provides onsite Chiropractic for corporate customers and works on our professional athletic clients from the Oakland Raiders and Athletics. He is a valuable member of the staff.

Rowan Richardson, Director of Operations.
 Rowan has a particularly important role at Body Techniques, he is the staffing coordinator. He assumed this position at the beginning of last year in which we saw the fulfillment % increase to almost perfection. Rowan has been with Body Techniques for over 6 years and has shown incredible dedication to his job here and the responsibilities. Rowan comes from South Africa where he developed an intensely responsible work ethic during his educational years. We are lucky to have such a powerful influence in the office to push us all forward.
Rowan is also a fantastic massage therapist with great success.

Mila Morales, Manager.
Mila brings a special mix of skills and experience to the office. Mila Morales was trained at The World School of Massage and Advanced Healing Arts in San Francisco. She completed her certification training in 1997 and began working at a busy Chiropractic office in the SF financial district that specializes in Carpal-Tunnel and Repetitive Stress injuries. She is experienced in both chair and table massage and incorporates many styles including Swedish, Vibrational Healing Massage, Sports Injury, Reflexology and Deep Tissue.
Mila is also a very skilled bookkeeper and therefore has a dual role in the office. She is handles most of our accounting department and doubles as one of our fantastic massage therapists. She works directly with Austin Lund.
